Wormhole exploiter strikes $46M value of stolen funds

The Wormhole Community exploiter, who stole practically $325 million value of belongings over a 12 months in the past, has been busy over the weekend. The hacker, who moved $150 million value of stolen belongings in January, shuffled extra funds on Feb. 12, in accordance with PeckShield.

The Wormhole attacker provided $46 million value of belongings to MakerDAO to obtain 16.6 million DAI tokens. The belongings moved to MakerDAO included 24,400 Lido wrapped staked ETH (wstETH) value $41.4 million and three,000 Rocket Pool ETH value $5 million.

The attacker then used the funds to purchase 9,752.24 ETH on the value of $1,537 per ETH, spending a complete of round $14.9 million. The exploiter spent one other $1.5 million to purchase 1,036 staked ETH(stETH). Based on PeckShield, the hacker wrapped the bought Ethereum tokens to get round 9,700 wstETH.

The Wormhole exploiter additionally provided $15 million value of wstETH to MakerDAO.
